About:
The Teleférico de Gaia is Porto, Portugal’s 562m urban cable car system. This gondola quickly takes tourists on a sweeping panoramic ride over this town’s historic UNESCO-recognized city center, from the Douro riverside to the upper deck of the magnificent Dom Luis I Bridge. More than tourist experience in itself, it’s also provides convenient access to some of Porto’s most preferred sites and amenities including its ancient Cathedral, world-renowned wine lodges and the Serra do Pilar Monastery.
Every Thursday, the Gondola Project team will select stunning captures of CPT lines. We hope this will continue to bring more attention to the technology and provide visually impactful examples of cable car systems worldwide.
