• Arizona Snowbowl is upgrading their ski lift during the COVID-19 pandemic. The ski resort has received all required permits and is moving forward in replacing the Agassiz three-person chairlift, installed in 1986, with a system that combines detachable chairs interspersed with gondolas. The new left will have the option of six or eight-person chairs. The resort plans to have a “farewell tour” and send-off party for the Agassiz Lift.

• Unfortunately, several ski resorts in Colorado have postponed lift construction projects. The Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Okemo ski resorts have had a dramatic decrease in revenue due to COVID-19. They anticipate revenue losses to continue into 2021.

• Vietnam’s Cloward H₂O water park transports visitors to their park by cable car. The recently completed cable car travels across three islands and over the ocean to arrive at the water park.
