The launch of Germany’s biggest urban cable car project for the Berlin IGA 2017 (English: International Horticultural Exposition) will take place on March 16.

To celebrate this ground breaking event, LEITNER Ropeways will be on site with Berlin’s Mayor, Michael Müller.

The 1.5km urban ropeway was awarded to the South Tyrolean manufacturer in 2014 and will be the first cable car system in Berlin in 50 years.

Not only will the cable car allow visitors to experience the horticultural expo from a spectacular aerial perspective, it will also improve accessibility to 100 hectares of event grounds.
