- Sljeme cable car in Croatia is placing cabins on the line. Doppelmayr has provided 80 10-person cabins that include folding seats that can accommodate guests with disabilities, skiers, and bikers. The new cable car is 100 meters longer than the previous cable car and will transport 1,500 people per hour.
- Vail Mountain gondola is requiring visitors to mask up. Vail Ski Resort opened up for the summer season with new rules for safe social distancing. Visitors are required to wear masks in all indoor spaces, including gondolas. The resort is continuing to work on how to improve safety for employees and visitors for the busy winter season.
- Lake Placid Olympic Ski Jumping Complex opened a new zipline and the recently completed SkyRide Gondola. The gondola takes guests up to the hillside with Olympic Jumping Towers. At the top of the hill guests can also go up the 120-meter tower and enjoy panoramic views.
- The Singapore Cable Car is now serving dinner. In an effort to promote local tourism, the cable car company has seven iconic Singaporean dishes that can be enjoyed in the cabins for just $55. The private cabins are a great social distancing method and a new experience.
