Gondola Trapeze Artist

No matter how stressful your job is, it probably doesn’t compare to the stress Swiss acrobat Freddy Nook voluntarily puts himself under.

This past weekend the 45 year old Nook tightrope walked across 5,300 feet of cable car rope at an elevation of over 10,000 feet above sea level. And to top it off: He did it without aid of net or harness.

Think about that next time someone asks you about gondola safety.

Astute readers will notice that even the Daily Mail can’t seem to figure out the difference between a cable car, gondola, aerial tram and funicular. Clearly we’re not doing our job well enough.
