  2. i find this to be true all the time! bike lanes that are on the curb and/or part of traffic aren't really bike lanes. they're dangerous, cars/trucks stop in them all the time, and people like to open their car doors into them. strangely, some of my closest calls have been from people running across the street who, once past the cars, just sort of stop walking. i always think it's more courteous to ring the bell then to run them over, but the number of times i've been shot the look of death because of this makes me believe otherwise.

  4. we need to hear both sides of the story: well casey is right on that one, but I know how some bikers behave (first hand) and the worst is kept on the video which was posted yesterday.
