Emirates Air Line
The Emirates Air Line began operation in June 2012, just weeks before the opening of the London Olympic Games. The system is a simple 2-station MDG gondola that crosses the Thames, connecting Greenwich Peninsula and the Royal Docks. Both locations are sites of Olympic venues (ExCel exhibition centre and the O2 arena.
